MY EXPERIENCE

HELLO, I’M Carla

I am an editor and proofreader who helps writers create clear, concise and engaging written work. I am also a writer working on my own novel so I understand both sides of the process.

Before starting a freelance business, I was in the classroom for 30 years teaching English which included editing, proofreading and self-publishing several books by groups of students. In addition to those skills, I guide, advise and support writers on their journey to reach their audience and publish work others will find joy in reading.

I enjoy spending time with family, reading, writing, following local sports teams and watching movies.
