The price will be determined after your work is assessed. I ask to see a sample section of the work, will determine the level of work needed and the time it will require and then provide a quote.
These are two different processes with different focuses. The manuscript evaluation helps determine if the work is ready for the editing stage. The sample assessment determines what type of editing is needed.
Through an evaluation or assessment, I can help you determine what is needed.
My services are incorporated into the process after the writer has completed the piece of writing and polished it as much as possible. I would provide an evaluation or assessment. Once a quote has been given and accepted, the contracted work begins.
Depending on the amount of work to do and the contracted quote, payment may be required with a 50% deposit and 50% at completion of the contracted work, three or four payments throughout the process, monthly payments or a one-time upfront payment.
Because each type of editing and the proofreading looks at different aspects of the writing, it is advisable to get each done. One editor may do all of them or a different person may be used for each step.
